Dr. Sacksteder’s journey to becoming a leading orthodontist in Charlotte, with a specialty in airway-aware orthodontics, began with a strong foundation in the sciences and a commitment to dental excellence. He completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio University before pursuing his doctorate and specialized orthodontic training at one of the nation's top dental programs, "The Ohio State University".
To ensure his patients receive the most modern and effective treatments available, Dr. Sacksteder maintains active leadership roles in several prominent dental and orthodontic organizations. His involvement allows him to stay at the forefront of the latest industry advancements and orthodontic technologies.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. James moved to the Charlotte area in 2018 to bring his passion for patient-centered care to our community. A proud Buckeye, he combines a dedication to clinical excellence with a warm, personal touch that makes every patient feel welcome.
Outside of the office, Dr. James is a devoted husband and father to two beautiful daughters. He is an avid sports fan and nature enthusiast.
