James Sacksteder, DDS, MS

He’s a world traveler. He’s an educator. He’s tall. And he has an impressive sock collection. Who is he? Meet Dr. James Sacksteder.

Dr. Sacksteder thrives on offering his patients the most effective and highest-level treatments available while helping them achieve their ideal smile in a low-stress, efficient, and progressive environment.

Now for the serious stuff. At Ohio University, Dr. Sacksteder graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!) and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He then completed a three-year residency program in Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopedics at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Sacksteder has earned numerous awards in his career and co-authored articles published in professional journals. He regularly attends continuing education courses and conferences, and remains dedicated to learning, educating others, and staying up-to-date on innovations in the field of orthodontics.

While it might seem Dr. Sacksteder only lives for making smiles beautiful, he’s passionate about the outdoors and keeping an active, fit, and healthy lifestyle with his wife Kylee, daughter Ella and their (fur) baby, the one and only Harper “The Honey Badger” Sacksteder.  As a sports fanatic, you can frequently find him standing in front of the television cheering on the Hornets, Panthers, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and LeBron James.
